Une rencontre annuelle : "le cochon à la broche"

Le comité des fêtes de Saint-Germain a organisé cette rencontre annuelle le samedi 6 novembre, moment de retrouvailles et de partage autour du "cochon à la broche". Ce sont plus de 80 convives qui ont fait ripaille dans la belle salle voutée du château prêtée gracieusement, comme tous les ans, par la Communauté de communes du Confolentais. Entre le potage maison, le cochon à la broche, les pommes de terre en papillotes à la crème de ciboulette, les conversations franco-britannico-hollandaises allaient bon train. Le comité des fêtes remercient tous les participants pour leur gourmandise et leur bonne humeur et donne à tous un prochain rendez-vous... le passage du Père Noël!

An annual event : the hog roast

The recreation/social committee of Saint-Germain organised this annual event on Saturday 6th November, a time for reunion and sharing around the hog roast. There were more than 80 guests who had a good feast in the beautiful arched hall of the chateau which was kindly lent, as it is every year, by the "Communauté de communes du Confolentais". Among the soup, the hog roast and the sweet potatoes with cream of chives, French, British and Dutch conversations were going nineteen to the dozen. The recreation/social committee would like to thank all the partipants and to point out to everyone the next event... the passing through of Father Christmas.
